Project profile 1 - major refurbishment for OCS/Monarch Airlines

Marco was recently involved in a very successful refurbishment of premises at Gatwick Airport for OCS/Monarch Airlines. This is a typical airport project, where both airlines and retail concessionaires frequently alter their premises to accommodate their business growth.

Key features:

• Fabricating and installing new mezzanine staircase
• Building new offices, kitchen, showers and toilets, complete with Amtico flooring
• Upgrade of lighting to meet BAA/GAL required standard

Project profile 2 - site hoardings at Gatwick South Terminal

Due to the expansion of the South Terminal Baggage Reclaim Hall, Marco was contracted by Taylor Woodrow to provide site hoardings and working platforms around the baggage belts.

Key features:

• Marco provided an essential safety element of this major £250,000 project lasting 15 months
• Bespoke hoardings constructed to meet the special requirements of the project
• All hoardings and other Ad Hoc works fully compliant with BAA/GAL standards
